Avery gripped the sleeve of his jacket as he stepped towards a massive neon sign, the pink glow stating firmly that this shell of concrete and black tinted windows was called the Hemorrhage, and it was open all night long.
The young, black-haired, dark-blue jacket-wearing boy stepped closer and closer to the dark door, reaching into his jacket pocket to fish out his brand-new smartphone as he hopped the curb and stood by the entrance, the pink glow reflecting off of the black plastic on his glasses.
Flicking the phone on, he checked his messages, his inbox glowing blue, obviously signifying a message within.

Kitasura was just finishing his finely-cooked egg when an icy breeze brushed across his neck, rustling the curtains over the windows, dimming the regularly-sunny kitchen.
The startled catboy jumped up from his chair and twirled around, expecting Lucas, but finding no one.
Just when he finally relaxed and caught his breath, he squeaked in fright as a pair of arms wrapped around his waist.
